Maggie Wong, a partner in the firm’s Technology Companies and Life Sciences practices, focuses on representing public and private life science companies, as well as venture capital firms and investment banks focused on the life sciences sector, including biotechnology, medical devices, diagnostics and health care information technology. She joined Goodwin Procter in 2007.
WORK FOR CLIENTS
Ms. Wong regularly counsels clients ranging from start-ups to public companies on general corporate matters and corporate finance, including venture capital financing transactions, public offerings of equity and debt, SEC compliance, corporate governance matters and mergers and acquisitions. She also has substantial experience advising clients in the life sciences sector on technology transfer agreements, licensing, distribution and other collaborative arrangements, as well as general contract matters.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
Prior to joining Goodwin Procter, Ms. Wong was an associate in the Corporate Practice Group at Heller Ehrman LLP. Before that, she was an associate in the Business Department at Cooley Godward Kronish LLP. During law school, Ms. Wong was a summer intern in the Office of the General Counsel of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.
