Ai Tajima is an associate in the firm's Litigation Department and a member of its Securities Litigation & SEC Enforcement Practice. She joined Goodwin Procter in 2007.
WORK FOR CLIENTS
Ms. Tajima concentrates her practice on complex business litigation with a particular emphasis on securities litigation, ERISA litigation, and class actions. Ms. Tajima has also counseled and defended clients in numerous government investigations initiated by the Securities and Exchange Commission, the Department of Labor, and the Department of Justice, and other agencies. Ms. Tajima’s clients include a broad range of entities in the financial services industry, including banks, investment advisers, life insurance companies, and service providers to ERISA plans.

Ms. Tajima co-wrote chapters of Investment Management: Law and Practice (Oxford University Press 2010).

RECOGNITION
Ms. Tajima was the recipient of the 2007 Suffolk University Law Faculty Outstanding Student Award-Evening Division, as well as Suffolk University Law School Jurisprudence Awards for Constitutional Law, Commercial Law Sales, Criminal Law and Professional Responsibility.
While attending law school, Ms. Tajima was a team member of the 2007 Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition. She was also a member of the Moot Court Board and the Journal of Trial and Appellate Advocacy from 2005-2006.
