Valerie Ross is a litigation partner with extensive experience in products liability and insurance law. Ms. Ross also has experience in environmental and toxic tort law, professional responsibility, complex commercial litigation, and other civil litigation.
PROFESSIONAL ACTIVITIES
Ms. Ross is a member of the Committee on Unauthorized Practice of Law of the District of Columbia Court of Appeals. She also recently served on the Multidisciplinary Practice Task Force of the American Bar Association’s Young Lawyers Division.
PUBLICATIONS AND PRESENTATIONS
Ms. Ross is the author of “Full-Time to Part-Time to Termination: What Does COBRA Require?,” 12 Benefits Law Journal 73 (1999).
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
Ms. Ross was a partner at Shea & Gardner prior to its combination with Goodwin Procter in 2004. Following graduation from law school, Ms. Ross clerked for the Honorable Ralph K. Winter, Jr. of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit.

Ms. Ross is admitted to the bars of the District of Columbia and New York, as well as to the bars of various federal courts.
