Paul Lee, a partner in the firm’s Business Law Department, concentrates on corporate and securities law and representing high technology and financial services companies. Mr. Lee advises boards of directors and represents large and small public and privately held companies in connection with business, securities, governance and transactional matters. He also advises high technology ventures regarding their organization, seed and venture capital financings, IPOs and licensing issues. Mr. Lee also works on the formation of venture capital funds.

Mr. Lee has served as chair of Goodwin Procter’s Business Law Department and as a member of several firm committees, including the Associate Compensation and Legal Personnel Supervision Committees.

PROFESSIONAL ACTIVITIES

Mr. Lee currently serves on the Nominating Committee and Standing Committee on Membership of the American Bar Association and previously served a three-year term as a member of the Board of Governors of the American Bar Association. Mr. Lee also served as a member of the ABA Governance Commission and Executive Director Search Committee. He is a past president of the National Asian Pacific American Bar Association and the Asian American Lawyers Association of Massachusetts. Mr. Lee was a recipient of the 2007 Spirit of Excellence Award by the ABA Commission on Opportunities for Minorities in the Profession. He also serves as a board member of the Asian American Justice Center, Massachusetts Asian American Commission, Boston Conference for Community and Justice, Asian Community Development Corporation and Asian Task Force Against Domestic Violence.

Mr. Lee is admitted to practice in Massachusetts and New York.
