Samantha Lake Coghlan is a partner in Goodwin Procter’s Business Law Department. Resident in the firm’s London office, Samantha advises on the structuring, establishment, operation and restructuring of real estate private investment funds and other structured real estate investment vehicles. She joined Goodwin Procter in January 2012.
WORK FOR CLIENTS
Samantha advises fund managers and a range of investors (including sovereign wealth funds, pension funds, investment banks, property companies and hedge funds) on real estate funds, club deals, joint ventures, segregated accounts and other corporate real estate transactions. She also advises on related matters, including set-up of fund managers and management team spinouts, as well as on the establishment of pension funding partnerships.
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
Prior to joining Goodwin Procter, Samantha was a partner in the Investment Funds Group of Ashurst LLP.
