Tom LaFond is a partner in the firm’s Financial Services Group and chairs its Banking practice. Mr. LaFond has a diverse corporate practice with a focus on the representation of financial institutions in mergers and acquisitions and in structuring and implementing investment products and services. He also represents clients before federal and state banking and securities regulators in connection with securities lending and other matters.

Mr. LaFond is a member of the American Bar Association and the Boston Bar Association.

Mr. LaFond was a law clerk to the Honorable John D. Butzner, Jr. of the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit.
