Douglas Kline, a partner in Goodwin Procter's Intellectual Property Group, concentrates his practice on all aspects of intellectual property litigation, particularly patent infringement matters and other disputes related to the enforcement of intellectual property rights. Mr. Kline has litigated and tried cases before judges and juries throughout the United States.
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
Prior to joining Goodwin Procter in 2005, Mr. Kline was a partner at Testa, Hurwitz & Thibeault in Boston, where he chaired the Patent and Intellectual Property Practice Group and Intellectual Property Litigation Group.
BAR AND COURT ADMISSIONS
Mr. Kline is admitted to the bars of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts; the U.S. District Court, District of Massachusetts; the U.S. District Court, Eastern District of Texas; the U.S. District Court, Western District of Wisconsin; the U.S. Court of Appeals for the First Circuit; and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit. In addition, he has been admitted pro hac vice to federal courts throughout the country. Mr. Kline is registered to practice with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
