David Hobbie is the firm’s Litigation Knowledge Manager. In this capacity, he ensures that Goodwin Procter litigators can quickly find and leverage various kinds of information about previous matters and work. Mr. Hobbie coaches staff and attorneys on efficiently finding and storing case-related information. He also evaluates potential new technology of use to the Litigation Department, and serves on the firm’s Knowledge Management team. In 2009, Mr. Hobbie was appointed to the Steering Committee for the International Legal Technology Association’s Knowledge Management Peer Group. Prior to joining Goodwin Procter, he practiced commercial litigation in Boston for eight years. Mr. Hobbie earned his J.D. (cum laude) from the University of Michigan Law School and an undergraduate degree from Oberlin College.
