Annemarie Hassett, a partner in the firm’s Patent Litigation Practice, focuses her practice on intellectual property litigation, with particular expertise in patent infringement and trade secret disputes. Ms. Hassett also practices in the area of white collar criminal defense. She joined Goodwin Procter in 2005.

PUBLICATIONS AND PRESENTATIONS

Ms. Hassett is the co-author of “Pyruvate Kinase: Is the Mechanism of Phospho Transfer Associative or Dissociative?,” in Biochemistry, and “Stereochemical Analysis of Phospho Transfer,” in Methods in Enzymology. In addition, she has made presentations before several industry groups and organizations, including the Bar Associate Training Program of the Committee for Public Counsel Services and Massachusetts Continuing Legal Education.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

Prior to joining Goodwin Procter, Ms. Hassett was a partner at Kirkland and Ellis LLP, where she was a member of the Intellectual Property Litigation Practice.

BAR AND COURT ADMISSIONS

Ms. Hassett is admitted to the New York and Massachusetts bars, as well as the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the First and Second Circuit, and the U.S. District Courts of the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York.

While attending law school, Ms. Hassett was the Editor-in-Chief of the Hastings Law Journal.
