John Haggerty, a partner in Goodwin Procter’s Business Law Department, is a member of its M&A/Corporate Governance Practice and its nationally recognized REITs Practice. Mr. Haggerty works on a wide variety of corporate and securities matters, including public and private mergers and acquisitions, public and private offerings of equity and debt securities by public companies, corporate governance and other matters of general corporate and securities law.

Mr. Haggerty has represented Smart Business Holdings, Inc. in connection with its acquisition by LECG Corporation; the special committee of Crystal River Capital, Inc. in connection with a review of strategic alternatives and a sale to Brookfield US Corporation; Morgan Stanley Real Estate Fund in connection with its acquisitions of Crescent Real Estate Equities and Glenborough Realty Trust; Digitas Inc. in connection with its acquisition by Publicis Groupe S.A.; Titan Energy Partners in connection with its acquisition by Energy Transfer Partners, LP; and Beacon Capital Partners in connection with its sale of private investment funds to Broadway Real Estate Partners.
