Karla Galvez is an associate in the San Francisco office of Goodwin Procter. She is a member of the firm’s Business Law Department and a member of the General Real Estate, Real Estate Investment Management and Real Estate Finance Practices. Ms. Galvez joined Goodwin Procter in 2006.
WORK FOR CLIENTS
Ms. Galvez’s real estate practice experience includes extensive representation of institutional and non-institutional investors and other large financial institutions in a variety of commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions and dispositions, formation and negotiation of joint ventures, debt financings, equity financings, workouts and leasing transactions. Her corporate practice experience includes extensive representation of companies in all aspects of their formation and development (including corporate organization and governance matters) and in major corporate transactions (including mergers, acquisitions, corporate restructurings, and private and public debt and equity securities offerings, including initial public offerings and preferred stock financings).

Ms. Galvez serves as the associate representative of Goodwin Procter’s Committee on Racial and Ethnic Diversity for California. She is a member of the San Francisco Bar Association, the American Bar Association, and the Business Law and Real Property Law Sections of the California State Bar Association.

Prior to joining Goodwin Procter, Ms. Galvez was an associate in the Corporate and Securities Group of the Business Department of Cooley Godward Kronish LLP.
