Karen Febeo joined Goodwin Procter in 2005 and is the firm’s Director of Training. In this role, she is responsible for developing and implementing a strategic training plan and curriculum for attorneys throughout the firm, focusing on aligning training with the firm’s development frameworks and professional development initiatives. Prior to joining Goodwin Procter, Ms. Febeo served as the Director of Human Relations at Testa, Hurwitz & Thibeault, where she worked closely with the firm’s management team focusing on all issues affecting associate life and served as a counseling resource for associates. Ms. Febeo is also an experienced litigator and intellectual property attorney, having practiced law at Testa, Hurwitz & Thibeault from 1996 to 2004. During that time, she also participated in a six-month internship at the Middlesex District Attorney’s Office. Ms. Febeo received her A.B, (cum laude) from Dartmouth College in 1993 and her J.D. (with honors) from the University of Connecticut in 1996.
