Jim Dittmar is a partner in Goodwin Procter's Litigation Department, where he focuses his practice on complex business litigation with particular emphasis on securities litigation; civil litigation and regulatory investigations and enforcement proceedings involving asset management and other capital markets financial services; civil litigation and regulatory investigations and enforcement proceedings under ERISA; and corporate transaction, control and governance disputes. His practice concentrates on class actions, derivative actions, and multi-proceeding litigations including federal multi-district litigation and simultaneous federal and state court actions.

Mr. Dittmar is a member of the American, Massachusetts and Boston Bar Associations, and is a past chair of the Litigation Section of the Boston Bar Association. He has been selected for inclusion in The Best Lawyers in America and Chambers USA: America’s Leading Lawyers for Business.
