Areas of Practice
Yvonne Cristovici, an associate in the firm's Litigation Department, focuses her practice primarily on complex business and securities litigation, corporate governance and government investigations. Ms. Cristovici also represents indigent defendants in criminal cases in federal district court.
Work for Clients
Ms. Cristovici represents corporate and individual clients involved in complex business and financial litigation, including shareholder class and derivative law suits, minority shareholder claims, and alleged breaches of fiduciary duties. She also counsels corporate clients in connection with internal investigations and investigations by the Securities Exchange Commission, Attorney General's Office and other governmental entities regarding allegations of mutual fund market timing, securities fraud, accounting fraud, insider trading and corporate governance violations.

Professional Experience
Prior to joining Goodwin Proctor, Ms. Cristovici was an associate in the Business and Securities Litigation Department of Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP in New York City. In 2000-2001, she served as law clerk to the Hon. Justice Alice Desjardins of the Federal Court of Appeal of Canada.
