Goodwin Procter Announces Senior Executive Promotions

Goodwin Procter, a national Am Law 50 law firm, today announced the promotion of four individuals to newly created senior executive positions at the firm. Michelle Duerr-Condia has been named Chief Administrative Officer for the firm; Catherine Gill has been named Chief Practice Management Officer – Litigation; Michael Kiskinis has been named Chief Financial Officer and Elizabeth Silva has been named Chief Practice Management Officer – Business Law. All promotions are effective immediately. All of these individuals will continue to report to Arthur Greenberg, Chief Operating Officer of Goodwin.
Duerr-Condia joined the firm in July 2007 as Director of Firm Real Estate and Administrative Services. As Chief Administrative Officer, she will be responsible for overseeing administrative functions in all nine of Goodwin’s domestic and international offices, including the work of 37 employees and numerous outside vendors and suppliers. Duerr-Condia will continue to be based in Goodwin’s New York City office.
Gill began her career at Goodwin in 1989 as an associate in the firm’s Real Estate Department. She rejoined the firm in 2005 as Practice Manager of the Real Estate Department and was promoted to Director of Litigation in 2006. In her new position, she will oversee all administrative functions related to running the firm’s Litigation Department of more than 560 attorneys and staff.
Kiskinis joined the firm in August 2001 as Director of Finance. As the firm’s Chief Financial Officer, he will oversee the firm’s financial operations, both domestically and internationally, including financial planning and analysis, budgeting, accounting, forecasting and cash management functions, and manage staff groups totaling 45 employees.
Silva joined Goodwin in 1990 as Manager of the Trusts and Estate Department. She was promoted to Director of Paralegals in 1998 and became Director of the Business Law Department in 2006. As Chief Practice Management Officer – Business Law, she will oversee all administrative aspects associated with running the firm’s Business Law Department of more than 630 attorneys and staff.
Gill, Kiskinis and Silva are based in the firm’s Boston office.
